Job Vacancy – Registered Care Manager
Full time (37.5 hours pw)
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 pa, depending upon experience
Location: St Catherine’s Care Home, Lanark, Scotland
As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the operational day -to-day management of St Catherine’s, ensuring the provision of a high quality elderly care service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with relevant legislation. You will provide effective leadership, guidance and professional direction to the whole team and possess a thorough understanding of the Care Inspectorate requirements.
St Catherine’s is a small 10 bedded care home set over two levels, with its own chapel. Life in St Catherine’s is at a gentle pace to meet the care and support needs of the residents ensuring the delivery of service is person centred to each individual.
We are keen to recruit someone who is dedicated, enthusiastic, compassionate, respectful and sympathetic to the Christian ethos and values.
You must hold an SVQ4 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and an appropriate Management qualification,withelderlyresidentialcareleadershipexperience,andbeflexibletoworkingweekends, on-call responsibilities and covering night shifts in emergencies.
